No matter what your career, you want to make yourself as indispensable as possible. Continuing your education, and adding new skills to your resume, can make you more desirable to employers and can allow you to more easily pursue your career ambitions.

“In a fast-moving, competitive world, being able to learn new skills is one of the keys to success. It’s not enough to be smart — you need to always be getting smarter,” says Heidi Grant Halvorson, a motivational psychologist and author of the HBR Single Nine Things Successful People Do Differently.

November 1st marks the beginning of Military Family Appreciation Month; a month-long celebration during which the Department of Defense and the nation will honor the commitment and sacrifices made by the families of the nation’s service members.

Throughout the month of November, military families will be honored and recognized for their support of our military and nation. This is an excellent time to recognize these families for the commitment and contributions they make every single day.

The National Military Family Association shares that 2.8 million military family members face challenges such as:

  • Frequent moves
  • Under-employment and unemployment
  • Financial strain
  • Adjusting to a service member’s injuries
  • PTSD and more

What are some ways to show your support this month (and all year long) to military families?

Halloween is just around the corner. It’s a time for costumes, trick-or treating, parades and plenty of candy consumption. Stories will abound about ghosts, witches and werewolves and many people are out for a good scare.

Ed4Online can’t help you with jack o’ lanterns and tales of fright, but we can help with furthering your education.
